Essential methodology training for our Australian licensed IPE and WIN eIPE clients. Application of the IPE methodology provides an organising framework based on a job's value within the context of an organisation and the wider commercial environment.
This is a self-directed blended learning online course. Your journey starts with diving into eLearning which you can access anywhere, anytime and finishes with a live-online, interactive workshop delivered by our accredited facilitators to a group of registered participants.
Mercer IPE is relevant for licensed organisations wanting to use a single methodology to classify roles across geographies and reference local pay data. IPE follows a simple process focusing on organisation structure, the complexities of the business, and the alignment of jobs to the business.
Part 1: eLearning
Post enrolment, Mercer provides access to a self-paced exploration of the course through quizzes, tutorials and exercises. The full International Position Evaluation (IPE) learning will take approximately nine hours of self-paced learning and needs to be completed prior to Part 2: Live online workshop. Once all modules are 100% complete, participants will be eligible to enrol into a live online workshop date.
Part 2: Live online workshop
Learning is put into practice in a virtual classroom facilitated by a Mercer Workforce Consultant. The workshop provides immediate feedback and greater understanding of the IPE methodology through group discussions and scenarios. This session will take three hours and is run as an interactive virtual classroom via Zoom. Only upon successful completion of the self-paced eLearning content and the live session, will our facilitators mark each participant competent and issue their accreditation.
