Membership Obligations

  • Contribute to the forum by bringing fresh perspectives and thought leadership
  • Ensure senior HR leadership represents the company for meetings, no deputizing to junior staff
  • Fulfilment of all membership obligations and rules as specified below:
    • To be eligible for a report, the company must submit data. We invite company to submit as much data as possible for all locations where they have presence.
    • Data must be on time and good quality for all positions, including executives
    • On time payment of membership fee (membership fee is renewed every year in January)
    • Company should not miss more than 1 of the forum meetings in a calendar year

Admission Criteria and Steering Committee

Potential members must meet ALL of the following criteria:

  • Must be an organization that supports the principles of the Energy Member Organizations.
  • Must be able to add value to the Forum membership through:
    • Being an organization that provides competitive operations to the current membership
    • Being representative within the Middle East region in countries that are of interest to the current membership
  • Must submit all compensation and benefits data for all countries where the organization has operations by the first immediate submission deadline to ensure mutual data insights benefits for all Forum members.
  • Must have sufficient country presence and revenue identifying the organization as a market leader within the energy sector.
  • Steering committee

    • Mercer will organize and chair the Steering Committee calls and meetings.
    • There will be a maximum of five client members, and members may remain on the Committee no longer than two years.
