Consumer Goods Forum, Middle East
This Forum provides a collaborative platform for Regional Rewards Leaders from Consumer Goods companies across the Middle East to engage in meaningful discussions on key people issues, while sharing insights, best practices, and innovative solutions that enhance employee engagement and drive organization success.
Forum members connect quarterly to explore the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in rewards management.
Includes 2 seats at each face-to-face meeting (held in Dubai in March and September)
Includes unlimited accesses for online/zoom meetings (held in June and November)
Networking with and benchmarking against premier Consumer Goods companies that are alike in size (large multinationals)
Opportunities to shape, influence and develop best HR practices for the Consumer Goods industry in the region
Ability to conduct quick polls and share knowledge in special interests pertinent to the forum and members
Regular invites to events throughout the year included in membership
Several spot polls per year on topics that are agreed upon amongst members
Access to all presentation materials shared by Mercer consultants
Membership Obligations
Members must host one meeting. Order of hosting is on a rotation schedule from date of joining the forum
Contribute to the forum by bringing fresh perspectives and thought leadership
Ensure senior HR leadership represents the company for meetings, no deputizing to junior staff
To be eligible for a report, the company must submit data. We invite companies to submit as much data as possible for all locations where they have presence.
Data must be on time and good quality for all positions, including executives
On time payment of membership fee (membership fee is renewed every year in January)
Company should not miss more than 1 of the 2 forum meetings, in a calendar year
Admission Criteria
Potential Members must meet ALL the following criteria:
Must be an (international/global) Consumer Goods organization that supports the principles of the Member Organizations
Must be able to add value to the Forum membership through:
Being an organization that provides competitive operations to the current membership;
Being representative within the Middle East region in countries that are of interest to the current membership
Must be of a size through country presence and revenue that identifies them as a market leader within the Consumer Goods sector
No. of Countries with Operations: minimum 2 countries in Middle East
Headcount in GCC: minimum 300 employees
Revenue size: Middle East and Africa US$300 million OR Global US$1 billion
If the above requirement is not met, company can provide future business strategies or restructuring initiatives that may lead to changes in company size and headcount, Mercer will consider these elements when making decisions as well.
