Role Analysis Training is designed to equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of the essential components of role analysis. This training will cover the prerequisites of role analysis, including organizational design, business process mapping, and the RACI Matrix. Participants will learn to identify the purpose and objectives of job descriptions, determine the various uses for job descriptions within an organization, gather position-specific information about jobs, and develop standardized job descriptions. The training will include hands-on activities that explore several approaches to sourcing job content for writing effective job descriptions. What you will learn:
Understanding Organizational Design: Participants will learn the steps necessary for creating an organizational design that considers four key components: business model, organizational model, people, and culture. This foundational step will serve as the basis for business process mapping.
Framework for Business Processes: Participants will explore the significance of business process mapping and the development of business processes in greater depth. They will also examine the hierarchy within business process mapping, which will serve as input for the RACI Matrix.
RACI Matrix Development: Participants will gain an understanding of the components of the RACI Matrix, along with the analysis and guiding principles required to create an effective RACI Matrix.
Practical Application of the RACI Matrix: Participants will engage in hands-on activities to develop a RACI framework, empowering them to apply these concepts in real-world scenarios.
Role Analysis Overview: Participants will learn the fundamentals of role analysis, the characteristics of effective job descriptions, and the information necessary for conducting a thorough role analysis.
Role Analysis Sourcing Approach: Participants will explore various approaches and techniques that can be utilized to source job content for writing job descriptions. Moreover, participants will learn about Position Information Questionnaire and Job Analysis Interview.
Job Description Components: Participants will receive training on each component of a job description, including what should be included and how to effectively develop each component.
